let's start by saying I was always planning on having a hospital delivery. Amy was very supportive of this decision and never once tried to pressure me into anything else. I wanted her there for support, pre/post labor help, and to communicate my wishes to doctors and make sure they were honored. she did just that! My epidural didn't work and I'm so thankful Amy was there to help me breath throuh the contractions. without her I probably would of just screamed fuck at everyone! She kept me focused and didn't hesitate to be by my side. the doctors/nurses were able to do there job while Amy was watching everything to ensure I was explained everything every step of the way. this was important to me from my past trauma delivery. after birth she made sure my little was latching and we were all good before leaving. she took my placenta to make capsules (very highly recommend)! she checked up on me that night and the next day to make sure I was doing well and all was good. her care was very much needed so my partner could focus on being a partner and be in the moment! so thankful for her and these service. thank you Amy for making this delivery amazing.

Amy is a wonderful asset to any birth space. Her knowledge and care are only surpassed by her gentle nature and attention. She is a gentle educator who makes sure that you know exactly what is happening or needs to happen. She is calm and collected under pressure and helps you to make informed educated decisions when it comes to your pregnancy, labor, and birth. I respect Amy's knowledge and her ability to assess a situation, and change as the needs change. If you are looking for an experienced, educated, strong, yet gentle wise woman to accompany you on your pregnancy journey, I would highly suggest Amy for that role.

Amy is very helpful, comforting and supportive during each and every birth. She is also incredibly intuitive -- she seemed to know exactly what every mom needs and when. I have whitnessed Amy assisting several births while capturing birth memories for different moms and I am always amazed with her presence and knowledge before, during and after birth. When I found out I was pregnant, I hired Amy and an OB because I thought I wanted duel care. Turns out I don't. I feel SO much more support by Amy than my OB. Amy makes you feel like a real person, beyond just the money and the birth. She takes interest in who you are, your needs, and what you might want in order to feel the safest and most supported in your decision to home birth. If people are scared, it's simply because of the lack of education. Amy is worth every penny and I am so at peace with my decision to hire her. Karla H I am so grateful for Amy being at our birth! The warm and healing energy radiates off of her! During my transitioning stage I didn't want her to leave my side. I would highly recommend her to any mama looking for a midwife and homebirth!
